Golden Moment Auctions is a company registered with the Ontario Government. It is located in Ontario, Canada.
We focus on popularizing, introducing, purchasing and selling Asian antiques and artworks, such as brush paintings, jade wares, bronzes, porcelains and scholar objects. We also provide appraisal services to help our clients to understand the backgrounds and the values of their collections.
Our items come from various sources and will be shipped from Canada to our successful bidders. Some of our consignors are serious collectors themselves. We provide professional one-stop-service to our valued clients - whether you intend to buy, sell or consign. We strive to offer quality items and services to meet your tastes and needs.
IMPORTANT (Please read before bidding.)
*Payment(s) must be paid in full within 7 business days. A dispute will be filed after 7 business days, if the winner fails to make the payment or fails to respond to our email(s). An invoice is sent to the winners normally within 2 business days.
*We try to describe our items as precisely as possible based on the opinions and judgments of our clients and staff. We do not claim to be experts in all sorts of antiques and artworks. Please ask questions and request more close-up images and/or condition report, before the auction starts. No excuse will be accepted for non-payment, once the winning bid is finalized. If you do not agree with our terms and are not ready to honor your commitments, please do not bid. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. NO RETURNS AND REFUNDS.
*Due to the sheer volume of sold items and a large number of buyers/winners of each auction, we sometimes need up to 2 weeks to have the items ready for shipping. We strive to save postage and shipping costs for our clients while making sure that the items will reach our clients safely. In order to do so, we need to sort, pack, and request estimates from our shippers. All these approaches take time. Therefore, we would like to ask your understanding and patience in advance. Our staff will be in close touch with our clients to expedite the process.
*In order to save shipping costs, we sometimes use our branch office in China for transitioning and redistributing purposes - especially for those OVER-SIZED HEAVY ITEMS such as LARGE BRONZES AND STONE CARVINGS. Please consult us, if you have any concerns or questions.
*We will keep the item(s) for the winning bidder(s) for up to 3 weeks. We assume no responsibility for the paid lot(s) that are not shipped or delivered due to lack of instructions and/or actions from the winning bidders. Upon request, we would, however, try our best to respond to the winning bidders’ special requests regarding a late shipping arrangement for paid lots.
Special Advice to Buyers/Bidders from China:
1. We could accept payment in RMB, upon requests.
2. Upon requests, we could provide services to pack, ship, and clear custom on our clients' behalf. Please contact us for details.
3. We advise our clients to use our shipping services to save time and money - especially for large and fragile items. When it is agreeable to the buyers, we could use our branch in China to redistribute the items in China, with assistance provided by local shippers.
For some items, we accept offers to purchase them outright after the auction(s). Please send us your request(s) and we will respond accordingly. We strive to reflect the real conditions of our items through pictures. Wears and defects are normally shown with close-up images. All measurements are in cm, instead of inches. If you need more images and condition reports, please do not hesitate to let us know. We also urge you to ask questions before bidding, if you are not clear about our terms and policies. We will work with you the best way we can to ensure your satisfaction.
