All items are sold as-is and although we try to disclose all obvious flaws, we reserve the right to oversights due to the fact that all Items are estate items and therefore preowned. Most of the items presented come from estates and collections, and may show signs of age or wear. We do our very best to describe and catalog items accurately, however, cannot be held responsible or liable for ANY errors or omissions in listing or condition.
Please inspect photos, ask questions, request information, condition reports, or address any other concerns that you may have PRIOR to bidding. We cannot provide these services during or after the auction. Legacy and its Consignors disclaim any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the Implied Warranty of Merchant-ability or Fitness for any particular purpose. Legacy will not be held responsible for any descriptions of the rarity, quality, condition, size, importance, or provenance of the property. While Legacy representatives, at the best of their ability, describe the items for sale; any statement, whether oral or written, by the Auctioneer or by any Legacy representative are mere opinions and shall not be deemed a warranty or representation regarding the property offered for sale. The bidder is responsible for determining the age, size, condition and value of the property before bidding. By placing a bid, you signify that you have examined the property to your satisfaction or have chosen not to examine it. If Legacy is prevented by fire, theft, or any other reason whatsoever from delivering any property to the purchaser, its liability shall be limited to the purchase price of the property as paid by the purchaser. Buyer's Premium: A Buyer's premium amounting to 14% of the winning bid amount will be added to the purchase price of each lot plus 5% Auctionzip.com/Invaluable.com Live fee. The winning bidders acknowledge and agree to pay a total of 19% premium on top of the winning bid price.
By signing up, and bidding (and winning), you have agreed to our buyer's premium of 14% and a live fee (5%) which is added in with the buyer's premium (total 19%) listed on final invoice. There is also a 3% credit card charge (American Express is 3.5%) & shipping fees.
CA Sales Tax: California residents must pay 10% sales tax
Orders above $10,000 will be required to remit payment via Wire Transfer; Credit card payments will not be accepted. Certain exceptions may apply. When the auction closes you will receive wiring instructions which must be paid immediately to eliminate nonpayment fees. As used herein the term "bid price" means the price at which a lot is committed to be purchased and the term "purchase price" means the aggregate of
(a) the bid price,
(b) A PREMIUM PAYABLE BY THE PURCHASER OF 14% & 5% (Invaluable.com Live Fee)
(c) California state or local sales tax.
(d) Shipping & Handling cost
Payment: The buyer is responsible for paying the seller directly after winning the item. Details on accepted payment methods and where to send payment are provided in an invoice from the seller.

Appraisal & Estimates: High and low estimates are provided solely for comparison purposes and LJAB makes no warranties of any kind relating to them.
Any appraisals or evaluations provided are solely for the convenience of the Bidder and LJAB makes no warranties of any kind relating to them. Appraisals may include valuations which reflect the full, highest retail price of the item in a specific geographic region, the item's insurance replacement value, or both. No price estimate or appraisal value should be considered to represent the investment or resale value of the item. Such values are to be solely based on the due diligence evaluation of the Bidder absent any estimate or appraisal value presented.
In the event that an item is listed as having an "Appraisal Estimate", this represents LJAB 's in-house estimate of what the item would appraise for. Actual appraisal of the item is the responsibility of the Bidder.
DISPUTES/ CHARGEBACKS
By participating in Legacy Jewelry Appraisers & Buyers Auction, the bidder entirely agrees to the dispute resolution specified in the foregoing paragraph as the bidder's SOLE means to resolve any and all disputes which may arise with LJAB. By placing a bid the bidder specifically agrees that bidder will not file a dispute or chargeback of any kind with an online venue, a credit card, or any other third-parties. Bidder specifically waives the right to initiate a credit card chargeback dispute on any basis of claim and agrees that bidder will pay LJAB a minimum of $300 plus hourly charges and costs for any such chargeback dispute opened, due to the severe administrative burden of such disputes and their direct violation of the dispute provisions above. In the event that Bidder violates this dispute resolution provisions, in consideration of LJAB 's approval of the application of the bidder to bid in LJAB 's auction, bidder confesses judgment to fraud having been committed by bidder against LJAB and further agrees that bidder is liable to LJAB for all damages, losses and costs, including time charges, resulting from charge backs or any claims.
