TWO BLACKISH-BROWN-GLAZED VESSELS LATE QING DYNASTY, 19TH-EARLY 20TH CENTURY One is a vase of square section, with plain tapered lower body and horizontally lobed upper body that tapers towards the square mouth, which is covered inside and out with a lustrous blackish-brown glaze. The other is in the shape of a large alms bowl, the globular body tapering from a high shoulder to the round base and covered overall with a lustrous blackish-brown glaze that also covers the rounded base.
