A Shiwan kiln figure of Diao Chan by Zui Shi Chao Tang from the 19th century. Diao Chan, one of the Four Beauties of China, is kneeling in prayer. Her robes are celadon glaze. There is a seal mark and a 4 character inscription on the bottom. Dimensions are 7 1/2 X 5 3/4 inches at the widest point. All measurements are approximate. Condition: There is a small chip in the pin in the figure's hair. It is in otherwise good condition.
