Two pairs of ranking badges and a shoulder piece, all dating from the 19th century. The shoulder piece is on black silk and features 5 5-clawed dragons chasing flaming pearls. One pair of ranking badges depict a peacock in white embroidery on a black ground, with a rock and wave motif, bats, lingzhi, hulu, and other auspicious symbols all contained within a bat and Shou character border. The other pair of ranking badges depicts a silver pheasant with the rock and wave motif, bats, coins, and other auspicious symbols. This pair of ranking badges are mounted on paper backings. Dimensions are: the shoulder piece measures 11 inches tall X 25 1/2 inches wide, the peacock ranking badges measures 12 inches tall X 13 inches wide, the silver pheasant ranking badges measure 15 inches tall X 14 1/4 inches wide.
