Mark of Johan Georg Christopher Meijer Sr. (1828 – 1860). Retail mark: Bennewitz (1854 – 1880).
Comprising of a teapot, twin handled sugar basin and cream jug.
Each of squat lobed form, raised upon four rosette decorated supports. The teapot with s-shaped spout, hinged lid decorated with floral finial and rosewood handle. The c-scroll acanthus decorated handles on the cream jug and sugar basin, with rounded edge.
Height of teapot: 13cm. Length of teapot: 26cm. Content: 925/1000. Total weight: 1340 grams.
