18th Century Chinese Ge type porcelain censer. The compressed globular body raised on countersunk foot base, gently tapered to waisted short neck leading to slightly flared and wide opened rim, two silk worm shaped handles flanked on the shoulder. Covered overall with a soft creme-grayish glaze suffused with a fine crackle ending at the bottom of the foot rim to expose the dark-grey ware burnt orange at the edges. The receded central under base remain underglaze.
