The porcelain pot?s sides rise gradually from a flat foot to a slightly everted rim. Two lobed cartouches feature country scenes with roosters and floral. In one, the rooster stands under a wisteria tree with dangling racemes. In the other, another rooster stands adjacent to a flowering tree as two butterflies flit around.
