A rare Chinese LuJun glaze (also called a jade candle ware) porcelain vase, of Chinese traditional pear shaped form, heavier to lower body leading to gently waisted prominent tall neck with flaring rim, and raised upon a slightly concave footed base. The exterior reserved in attractive and unique Lujun glaze. The glaze has a fluid appearance with a splash of creme-white colors melting together to create abstracted effect against the indigo ground underglaze. Elegantly displayed upon a carved hardwood stand. Incised six characters mark, Qing Dynasty.
