A matching pair of cloisonne scholar?s screens. Both screens feature scalloped shaped cartouches with a barbed at center top. The screens depict a festival in a mountain village with nine dragon boats on a lake. Pine trees and several houses form a background and high rocks jutting out from the water give perspective to the viewer. A fitted carved frame in included. The top sections are carved to follow the shape of the screen cartouches. The lower section contains an intricately carved eight-post gallery.
