Interesting screen of an oval plaque of Chinese moonstone displaying a central symbol of a double gourd vase containing stylized sprays of nandina and prunus. Various other figures include a lapis gourd on a stand and turquoise melons and pomegranates. A forcing bowl of mother-of-pearl bulbs and blossoms stand in an incised carnelian dish. Calligraphy is on the reverse. Assorted stones include but are not limited to lapis, mother-of-pearl, carnelian, jade, turquoise, red coral, onyx, white jade, amber, rock crystal and soapstone. The large accompanying carved Hongmu stand contains many auspicious symbols as well.
