長方桌造型簡約，比例匀稱，饒富雅韻，清麗脫俗。黃花梨邊框內嵌癭木面心，高束腰，牙子起陽線，四腿修長，用馬蹄足。通體無棖無紋，芟繁就簡，不求縟飾，只尚逸致。癭木色澤深沉，旋紋籠絡，結合上下四方的簡練線條，效果斐然，淋漓盡致地展現質感、色相、用材之精妙選配。 此類帶高束腰之條桌，在明代版畫中屢現，多見靠壁或倚床，上擺古玩奇石，或承放酒餚。其尺寸小巧，便於移動，置之室內、外皆宜，用途廣泛。傳世一例尺寸較大，設高束腰、馬蹄足及霸王棖，錄於 N.
