禪凳偌大，寬逾68公分（27英吋），深達61公分（24英吋）。牙條光素，起陽線，與腿足交圈；羅鍋棖修長，起落有致。足距寬綽，明淨敞亮，雅韻盈溢，尤勝普遍長方凳。禪凳清雅，線條簡約，邊沿無紋，僅起陽線；腿足筆挺，以內翻馬蹄足利落銳收，一氣呵成。禪凳古意悠悠，所蘊含的十七世紀美學睿智，微妙銜接現代時尚。 此類尺寸尤大的長方凳，以寬闊坐面供人盤腿趺坐、參禪冥想，故有「禪凳」之稱。其風格各異，例見北京故宮博物院所藏之黄花梨木藤心大方杌，設雙層劈料羅鍋棖，載於王世襄《Connoisseurship of Chinese Furniture: Ming and Early Qing Dynasties》，1990年，卷二，頁20，圖版A7，尺寸稍大（70公分）。另見弗拉克斯（Flacks）家族舊藏之黃花梨有束腰禪凳，牙條浮雕卷草紋，經紐約佳士得拍賣，2016年9月16日，拍品編號1122。
