Ottoman Turkish and Arabic manuscript on paper, 233 leaves, 19 lines to the page written in two columns of naskhi script in black ink, double intercolumnar rules in gold, inner margins ruled in gold, catchwords in wide outer margins, Arabic titles written in naskhi script in red ink, one illuminated headpiece in colours and gold, edges of first folio frayed, small tears restricted to outer margins otherwise in good condition, contemporary brown morocco with stamped central medallions and cornerpieces decorated with intertwining stylised serrated leaves and flowerheads, spine rebacked, edges defective, doublures of marbled paper 400 x 272 mm.
