十八世紀的中西瓷器貿易一個很重要的現象就是西方的彩料進入中國並成功導致了琺瑯彩，粉彩，墨彩，廣彩，青花加彩的瓷器的出現和流行。從十八世紀早期開始，彩瓷成為中國出口瓷器中最暢銷的品種，並且價格是青花瓷器的幾倍。不僅如此，彩瓷的出現，也使得西方的透視畫法得以開始和中國傳統畫法相結合。這一時期的彩瓷大部分都是歐洲特色的文飾和主題。中國陶瓷在歐洲取得如此崇高的地位，主要原因就是歐洲人長時間以陳設中國陶瓷為榮，以陳設中國陶瓷為時尚。歐洲早期帝王時代，因宮廷的生活奢華，食衣住行皆要求更完美及創新奢華。一般的餐具除了講究瓷器材質、造型、彩繪外，已經沒法滿足貴族的要求，所以才會由高級工匠創造瓷盤的立體效果〝鏤空〞，讓瓷器不再是單調的造型及功能。鏤空除了方便清洗水果時可排水外，還可創造不同的光影效果，把鏤空瓷盤放上香水蠟燭，在晚宴時可看到鏤空處，透出的燭光及格子影子隨風飄逸，這是一般瓷盤及玻璃無法創造的光影舞蹈。 直径20公分 In the 18th century, a very important phenomenon in the porcelain trade between Chinese and Western countries was that Western color materials entered China and led to the appearance and popularity of coloration on blue-and-white porcelains such as enamel, pastel, ink color, and Guangcai. In the early European emperors' era, due to the luxurious life of the court, food and clothing demanded more perfection with innovation and luxury. In addition to the high benchmark for modeling and painting of the materials , ordinary tableware can no longer meet the requirements of the nobles. Therefore, the three-dimensional effect of porcelain plates being hollowed out was created by senior craftsmen. Except for the convenience of being drained when cleaning fruits, the hollowed porcelain dish can also create different light-and-shade effects. Putting the scented candles in the hollowed dish, you can see the hollows during dinner.
