Description: A Small Pala Brass Shrine Depicting Vishnu, Bengal, Eastern India, 11th/12th century, the four-armed deity standing on a double lotus, flanked by a chauri-bearer and musician, a flaming aureole behind, a diminutive figure of Garuda below, worn devanagari inscription on the reverse, 8.8cm (3 1/3in) high.Provenance: Collection of the Late Andrew Solomon, London, inv. no.
