The foot ring is not glazed but the base is. The foot ring is rough. The painting on the top surface is a double ring with a central round design of peony and scrolling. There is a cobalt painting on the underneath edge of a wave border and two blue circles above the foot. The glaze is thick, unctuous, soft, and bluish tinted.
