They have been potted with a scalloped edge which transitions to a shallow ridge to the central medallion. They have been painted initially with a deep dark cobalt under glaze and then rich iron red, green, gray, and gold over glaze enamels. Black was used to accent and define. The bowls have a lot of gold enamel.The central medallion has a design of a peach with the added workmanship of incised lines in the peach and leaves. The designs of the bowl cavettos are alternating panels of flower and fruit arrangements in baskets set within exquisite fabric designs. The outsides of the bowls have Buddhist symbols in red and cobalt blue. There are multiple concentric rings above the foot in under glaze cobalt. The foot is slightly raised with an unglazed base with a glazed center.There are matching Japanese character in cobalt blue in the center of the base of each bowl.
