The piece has an etched floral band at the mouth, an etched line design around the central well, and an etched floral and ribbon design on its top. The center of the well has a raised button. The base has step like circles rising to the dish base. The foot is shallow. The piece has shined up nicely.There is a a raised disc of metal on the base with the stamped words QUADRUPLE PLATE WILCOX SILVER PLATE Co in a circle around a pair of crossed hammers. There is a production number of 568 below the trademark.MEASUREMENTS 9 ??a€ (24.8 cm) diameter x 6 ??a€ (17.1 cm) tall. Weighs 2 lb 9.5 oz (1175 g)CONDITION There are no cracks, dents or breaks, but there are small nicks on the rim. You can also see small wear scratches on the interior. A portion of the engraved floral border on the rim shows lines underneath, but these scratches do not continue all the way around the piece. There are some silver losses; the largest is in the interior on one side of the well. Even with the losses, the dish looks very shiny and perfect.A great centerpiece for the table.
