I cana€?t believe someone didna€?t go blind painting this dish.Shallow bowl with a low rise to the mouth with medallions with intricately-paint designs of birds in trees in over glaze enamels in red, green, cobalt and gold. These are separated by red and gold medallions of chrysanthemums. The background around the medallions is decorated with diamonds in repeating patterns. In the central well are floral and butterfly patterns in underglaze blue with over glaze gold and green accents. The underside is also painted with under glaze blue and over glaze enamels in fluid floral designs. Blue lines circle the foot ring.The foot ring is cut and unglazed, and the base is glazed. There are no porcelain marks.MEASUREMENTS 9 ??a€ (24.8 cm) diameter x 1 ??a€ (4.4 cm). Weighs 1 lb 11.3 oz (775 g)CONDITION There are no cracks, breaks, or rim chips, except for one small chip on the inside of foot ring chip. The bowl rings like a bell. There is very little wear to the central well, although there is a bit of wear to the gold enamel ring at the mouth of the bowl.
