There is a repousse band on the shoulder with a design of birds, urns, and flowers. The body has an etched design of geometric bands and flowers. The creamer still has much silver and polishes up well.There is a mark stamped on the base that reads SIMPSON HALL MILLER & CO. + This circles around the word a€?TR LE PLATEa€ (it should read a€?Quadruple Plate, but several letters arena€?t legible) and the number 1871MEASUREMENTS 6a€ (15.2 cm) tall x 5a€ (12.7 cm) long x 3 ??a€ (8.3 cm) wide. Weighs 12.3 oz (350 g)CONDITION There are two small dents with a nick under the repousse band under the spout. There are a few rough spots on the lip, small wear scratches on the handle, and some little blemishes on the body by the handle.
