Tibet, 14th century Outlined in gilt on dark blue silk, the six-armed, four-faced Bodhisattva, emanation of the 'jewel-born' Ratnasabhava, seated in padmasana on a lotus cushion over an elaborate throne back held by two makaras, the deity holding an array of attributes, mostly associated with the act of 'cutting away illusions', including a bow and arrow, a discus, as well as a ghanta and vajra, flanked at either side by four further goddesses, mounted on frame.12.9cm (5in) x 55.5cm (22 in)
