Description: Porcelain. China, Qing dynasty to 20th century
The plate is made from attractive Mandarin porcelain, intricately painted with enamel paint and gold. Four large sections, framed by a silkworm motif, show scenes populated with noble families and filled with dense compositions of blossoms, birds and butterflies. The similar central motif is surrounded by four butterflies. Mounting on the back. With its beautiful cobalt blue, the ginger pot presents large, white plum blossoms on a dark blue background. The base shows a four-character mark Kangxi nian zhi.

Condition: Generally both in good condition - lively paint of the plate well preserved with some minor losses, ginger pot with slight signs of age and wear such as small manufacturing flaws
