Description: Glazed ceramic. China, Han dynasty (206 BC-220 AD)
A red-brown glazed Hu vase with a flat foot, four grooves around its spherical, slightly squashed body, the neck tapering to a flat, flared mouth. These types of vases employed the then newly invented lead glaze. They were buried with their owners and were preserved very well in the loess soil.

Condition: Minor chips on the mouth and food; overall very good condition
