Description: Porcelain. China, Qing dynasty, 18th century
This porcelain bowl with convex sides on a small foot has a beautiful cool green glaze in the style of Qingbai with very expressive craquelure. There are two distinct types of craquelure here; one is whitish, finer and more in depth, while the other is darker, more expressive and on the surface. Five reddish dots (similar to spur marks) are symmetrically arranged around the character Guan, describing a high official or Mandarin, on the base.
