Description: White ceramic. China, Dawenkou, around 4.300 - 2.500 B.C., TL-tested
The stem cup is round with an everted rim; the conical foot has incisions in four vertical rows. Such perforations are characteristic for this kind of Neolithic pottery. The result of the thermoluminescence test, from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, is consistent with the dating of this lot.
