These bowls, known as Henan ware, are also named Temmoku after Tianmu Mountain, where such drinking bowls were made in the Chan monasteries. The piece with the largest diameter has a fine glaze and a particularly tasteful appearance. The bowl with the brown interior glaze shows a black flowing pattern and chips on the lip. The third piece could be younger than indicated above and is in perfect condition. It has a lustrous, coffee-brown glaze with fine flowing patterns.
