Of upright rectangular shape with rounded corners, beveled edges, the beaker indicated by a drilled hole for attaching a thread. Creamy white jade with cloudy pattern and streaky russet inclusions, subtle veining of the stone, smooth surface polish. Flattened ornament with low relief, depiction of a stylized bird-like creature with compressed involute beaker, broad head, circular eyes, pointed ears and elongated body, standing on a rectangular base, the feathered wings indicated by slightly curved vertical grooves.
