Description: Bronze. China, Qing dynasty
Both of compressed globular shape with a wide flaring mouth. Decorated in relief above archaistic brocade patterns and waves, are squirrels amongst lingzhi, vines, leaves and grapes. The two handles are also cast as squirrels with bushy tails gnawing at one of the fruiting vines.
