An extraordinarily large, balustershaped satsuma porcelain palace vase. Depicted are several luohans and Kannon with dragon; Shimazu mon around the stepped base. The handles are formed as shishi masks.

Condition: Good overall condition - missing the lid and repaired crack on the mouth
Provenance: From an old Austrian private collection acquired before 1930
