Ca. 18th century Indian style stone Brahma. Brahma is the Hindu God of Creation and one of the Trimurti, the others being Vishnu and Shiva. He is sitting with eight arms holding a variety of objects. Brahma's four faces look North, South, East and West. The Brahma is mounted on a wood base (later). The carving is beautiful as you can see in the fine details of the face. Each detail is rendered perfectly. Traditional in appearance, the sculpture will bring serenity and timeless style to your home, office or sacred space.
