Important pair of Sèvres porcelain vases painted in polychrome on a turquoise blue background with gilded bronze lids crowned with a pinnacle and a polylobed base. The ovoid-shaped bodies, taken from loops shaped in gilded bronze, are adorned on the front with allegorical scenes (1st Maiden carrying light and salvation -2nd Maiden carrying water and life) and on the back by scenes of landscapes.
