Description: AFTER HOSODA EISHI (1756-1829, Japan) TWO WOMEN HOLDING SCROLL - Color woodblock reproduction print of women dressed in traditional Japanese robes holding a scroll with calligraphy written on it. Original seals are present on the work along with a double circle seal attributed to Goyo Hashiguchi (1880-1921). Condition: excellent. Minor paper toning is visible, margins have been cut. Colors of the woodblock are well kept. Paper measures 17" x 3.5"; mounted on rag board with wheat paste and sealed in mylar measuring 21.5" x 8"
