We help buyers to arrange after payment has been made.
1. The highest bidder acceptable to the Auctioneer shall be the Buyer. The Auctioneer shall have absolute discretion to settle any disputes which arise and to refuse bids or to advance the bidding as seen fit.
2. When the lot is sold the buyer shall pay the Auctioneer in full the Hammer Price (plus V.A.T. if payable), together with a Buyers Premium of 25% .
3. Buyers shall provide the Auctioneer with names and addresses and if requested bank and other references.
4. Where the Lot is marked by an asterisk (*), V.A.T. is payable on the hammer price at the standard rate.
5. The ownership of a lot shall not pass to the Buyer and the Buyer shall not be entitled to remove any lot until he has made full payment to the Auctioneer of the total amount due. Payment shall be deemed to have been made only after the Auctioneer has received cash or sterling bankers draft or the Buyer's cheque has been cleared.
6. All lots must be removed at the Buyer's risk and expense as soon as possible after the sale. 7. Should a Buyer breach either of conditions 2 and 6 the Auctioneer, at his absolute discretion and without prejudice to any other rights he may have, may exercise any of the following rights: (a) rescind the sale or any lots sold to the buyer; (b) resell all or any lots by public auction or private treaty and any deficiencies in the purchase price resulting from such sale together with full costs incurred in connection with the lots or lots shall be paid to the Auctioneer by the buyer. Any surplus over the proceeds of sale shall go to the Seller; (c) remove, store and insure (on any premises) the lot or lots at the expense of the Buyer; (d) reject any bids made by or on behalf of of the Buyer at any future auction, or obtain part payment before accepting any future bids; (e) apply any proceeds。
8. The Company makes no warranty or guarantee, whether express or implied, as to the authenticity, authorship, date, place of origin, provenance or source (including but not limited to ownership history), condition, quality or value of any lot offered for sale. Any descriptions, statements, opinions or representations made by the Company, whether in auction catalogues, at previews, on online platforms or in any other form whatsoever, are given in good faith for reference purposes only and shall not, in any circumstances, constitute any warranty or guarantee as to the authenticity, authorship, date, origin, provenance, condition, quality or value of any lot. The Company accepts no liability for any error or omission in respect of such information. All lots are sold in their present condition at the time of sale. Bidders and/or their agents shall, prior to bidding, satisfy themselves as to the condition and nature of the lot, either by personal inspection or by obtaining independent professional advice, including but not limited to advice concerning authenticity, provenance, condition, quality and value, and shall be solely responsible for any decision to bid and for all risks arising therefrom. Participation in any auction organised by the Company shall be deemed to constitute the bidder’s full inspection and independent assessment of the authenticity, authorship, date, origin, provenance, condition, quality and value of the lot concerned, and the bidder’s full acceptance of the lot’s condition and value as at the time of sale. By bidding, the bidder irrevocably agrees to assume all risks arising from the purchase and irrevocably waives any right to raise objections, claims or demands against the Company in respect of the authenticity, provenance, condition or quality of the lot after the sale. 9. Condition: surface wear, consistent with age and use. The condition report is provided to assist you with assessing the condition of the lot and is for guidance only. Any reference to condition in the condition report for the lot does not amount to a full description of condition. The images of the lot form part of the condition report for the lot. Certain images of the lot provided online may not accurately reflect the actual condition of the lot. In particular, the online images may represent colors and shades which are different to the lot's actual color and shades. Notwithstanding this online condition report or any discussions concerning a lot, all lots are offered and sold "as is" in accordance with the conditions of sale/business applicable to the respective sale.
