H :25.5cm W :13cm This Liao-Jin Dynasty gilt-bronze seated figure of Guanyin has a solemn and primitive shape. Guanyin wears a treasure crown, has a full face, wears a heavenly robe, is decorated with a chest ornament, and sits cross-legged on a lotus platform. The bronze body has partially preserved gilt, with exquisite craftsmanship, combining the artistic heritage of the Tang Dynasty and the artistic characteristics of northern ethnic groups, fully demonstrating the artistic style and religious connotation of Buddhist statues in the Liao-Jin period. It is an important object for studying the Liao-Jin bronze statue craftsmanship and Guanyin-themed statues, and has extremely high historical, artistic and collection value.
