H :26cm W :17cm This Qing Dynasty Dushan Jade Cleverly-Carved Mountain Ornament with Landscape and Figures is exquisitely crafted. Made of natural Dushan jade, it is cleverly carved according to the stone’s natural colors (brown, blue, white, etc.), with full openwork of landscapes, figures and flowers : dark brown jade forms the mountain texture, blue-white jade carves flowers, leaves and figures. The layout has layered depth, with vivid figures and a distant artistic conception, fully demonstrating the artistic standard of the Qing Dynasty "clever-color jade carving" (carving by material, integrating form and spirit). Mounted on a rosewood base, it is well-preserved overall and is a fine Dushan jade carving of the Qing Dynasty. It embodies the clever-color technique of Qing Dynasty jade carving and the literati’s landscape aesthetic, and is an important object for studying Qing Dynasty jade carving craftsmanship and folk decorative art, with relatively high artistic, material and collection value.
