This piece by Lee Ufan created with glue and mineral pigment on canvas is a quintessential example of his “Mono-ha” aesthetic. The composition features repetitive blue brushstrokes that gradually fade from top to bottom creating a rhythmic and gradient effect. This minimalist approach emphasizes the temporality and naturality of the creative process evoking a meditative and tranquil ambiance. Through this work Lee explores the profound philosophy of “being and nothingness ” making it a rare and exceptional masterpiece.
