H :20cm W :14cm This Blue-and-White Flower Vase (Huagu) with Bird-and-Flower Pattern is a fine blue-and-white decorative porcelain piece of the Ming Dynasty. It takes the huagu form with an open mouth, constricted waist and ring foot, made of solid fine white body with a moist blue-tinted glaze. The body is decorated with blue-and-white bird-and-flower patterns (lively birds and elegant flowers) accompanied by bamboo and rock scenery; the blue-and-white color shows distinct layers , and the foot is adorned with lotus petal patterns, fully demonstrating the Late Ming blue-and-white feature of "delicate painting and elegant artistic conception".
