H :9cm W :8cm This sculpture is a seated figure of Vaishravana (Jambhala) in the Tibetan Buddhist style from the Qing Dynasty, entirely cast using gilt-bronze technique with a thick, lustrous layer of gold and a rich, natural patina. The deity has a square, full face with a dignified and imposing expression, adorned with ornate armour and jewel-encrusted . His right hand holds a victory banner, while his left grasps a treasure-spitting mongoose, seated atop a roaring snow lion that symbolises wealth and authority. The layered lotus base is neatly structured. Executed with exquisite craftsmanship and meticulous detailing, it embodies both religious sanctity and artistic expressiveness. As a fine example of Qing Dynasty Tibetan Buddhist sculpture, it holds profound religious, artistic and collectible value.
