He studied at a European art academy in his early years and was influenced by expressionism and modernism. He later went to the South Pacific and Southeast Asia to live and create for a long time, especially during his stay in Bali, Indonesia, where he developed his personal style. His works mostly involve tropical figures, dancers, religious rituals and rural landscapes. They have strong colors and clean modern lines, and the pictures are rich in decoration and mysterious places. Meyer has successfully integrated European painting language and Eastern cultural elements. He not only retains Western structural drawings and modeling structures, but also integrates local living groups and spiritual symbols, making his works both artistic and cultural research value. Occupying a unique position in the history of Southeast Asian art and cross-cultural art exchange, his works are widely accepted by international collectors and art institutions.
