来源:收藏家Mr Hassan 86岁，前佳士得油画部顾问，早年购于画家本人。Mr Hassan收藏的油画曾被佳士得和苏富比拍卖。
provanace:Collector Mr Hassan, 86 years old, former consultant of Christie's oil painting department, bought it from the artist himself in his early years. Oil paintings collected by Mr Hassan have been auctioned by Christie's and Sotheby's.
阿德里安简勒梅耶尔（1880-1958）是来自布鲁塞尔的比利时画家，他在巴厘岛度过了他的一生，78岁时逝世。Mr Hassan 生于1937年，是前佳士得新加坡的油画部顾问，Hassan于80年代去巴厘岛买油画，在吃饭的时候遇到一位老妇人，因为Hassan是穆斯林，伊斯兰教规定吃饭要与别人分享不可以吃独食于是他把自己的食物与老妇人分享，吃完之后老妇人很高兴与他聊天了起来，她问Hassan“你来巴厘岛干什么呢？”Hassan说:“我来买油画了。”老妇人听了以后十分高兴，她说我有很多油画是我丈夫画的留下来了。同时也留下了眼泪，说她的丈夫多年前去了比利时治疗耳朵结果在治疗过程中过世。她一直十分伤心。Hassan就问了:“你丈夫是谁呀？”老妇人回答:“Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur。”于是Hassan就去老妇人的家里，看到了Le Mayeur的作品十分喜欢，就把所有的画都买了下来，并且告诉老妇人如果朋友手里还有Le Mayeur的画还会继续购买。Adrien Jan Le Mayer (1880-1958) was a Belgian painter from Brussels who spent his life in Bali and died at the age of 78. Mr Hassan was born in 1937 and is a former consultant of the oil painting department of Christie's Singapore. Hassan went to Bali to buy oil paintings in the 1980s. He met an old woman during dinner. Because Hassan is a Muslim, Islam stipulates that he should eat with others. He shared that he could not eat alone, so he shared his food with the old woman. After eating, the old woman was very happy to chat with him. She asked Hassan, "What are you doing in Bali?" Hassan said, "I'm here to buy oil paintings. I'm done." The old woman was very happy after hearing this, she said that I have a lot of oil paintings that my husband painted and left. She also shed tears, saying her husband had gone to Belgium for ear treatment many years ago and died during the treatment. She has been very sad. Hassan asked: "Who is your husband?" The old woman replied: "Adrien-Jean Le Mayeur." So Hassan went to the old woman's house and saw Le Mayeur's work and liked it very much, so he put all the paintings I bought them all, and told the old lady that if my friend still had a Le Mayeur painting, I would continue to buy it.
