This historically important oak poker table, with six original horse head chairs and poker chip and drink holder inserts that can be flipped over, was one of two of this style used by the Mafia families at the infamous Mafia summit on Nov 14, 1957, at the home of Joseph "Joe the Barber" Barbara in Apalachin, NY. This example was purchased out of the house when the contents were sold in 1962 and has been in the same family since. The whereabouts of the other matching table "Next to the hearth stands the combination TV-radio-hi fi in light wood, as well as two octagonal tables in dark oak.
