The deity is shown standing atop two large rice bales, a traditional symbol of agricultural abundance and wealth. He carries his signature treasure sack over his shoulder and holds the uchide no kozuchi (magic money mallet) in his right hand. The calligraphic inscription dates the work to the Jiazi year (1924). The artist, signing as "Shiun" (紫云), employs a fluid, spontaneous style that balances the folk-art charm of the subject with refined ink washes. The figure's robes are accented with golden mon (crests), further emphasizing the auspicious nature of the painting.Dimensions Image: 41 cm x 24 cm Hanging Scroll: 214 cm x 53 cmCONDITION REPORTThe painting is in good overall condition, consistent with its age. The paper ground shows light natural toning and horizontal drying folds typical of hanging scrolls. The mounting remains stable with decorative patterned silk borders.
