Specification: Bracelet length 18 cm; circular brooch diameter 4 cm; combined total gross weight 81.5 grams
Description: Complete matching two-piece jewellery parure crafted for European nobility during the Napoleon III era, unified by a radiant sunburst pearl-and-diamond motif.
The bracelet features a wide, supple hand-woven gold mesh band, centred with an ornate circular plaque pavé-set with old mine cut diamonds radiating outwards from a large central natural pearl, encircled by graduated baroque natural pearls lining the plaque perimeter and vertical mesh side panels.
The coordinating circular brooch replicates the identical sunburst design, fully encrusted with diamonds and accented with large natural pearls at every compass point, engineered to also fasten atop the bracelet as a secondary ornament.
Heavy solid woven gold construction with intact original pearl and diamond mountings, a rare complete bespoke Second Empire pearl suite of substantial weight and dramatic scale.
