Description: Exceptional wide gold bracelet of aristocratic Napoleon III manufacture, distinguished by its fully detachable central oval plaque which may be worn separately as a brooch or pendant. The plaque features luminous radial guilloché metalwork beneath translucent royal blue enamel, overlaid with an ornate cursive monogram entirely pavé-set with old mine diamonds, enclosed within a continuous diamond halo. The plaque is framed by dramatic repoussé scroll and foliate gold cartouches accented with additional diamond sprays. The bracelet band consists of hand-engraved square gold links interspersed with smooth natural pearls, finished with delicate cascading gold tassel chains suspended from the lower edge. All original enamel, stone settings and gold chasing remain crisp and intact, a rare convertible suite piece of mid-19th century French noble jewellery.
