Description: Philippines, 1949. P-Unlisted. 5 Centavos color trial. Uniface front essay specimen and proof back specimen. The face is red on light blue underprint and printed by lithography with Red specimen overprint and "00000" serial numbers, Large margin on top with color blocks of border and undertint colors. The back is intaglio printed in black, Unreleased and unissued 5 Centavos color trial. Face has a red overprint on upper top margin with date 4-28-54 and "Cerro 2824 5F-1". The face would grade uncirculated but there was a paper clip that just touched the top margin and leaves a thin rust line, the back is uncirculated. Scarce pair of notes.
