Dimensions: Approximately 16 cm (6.3 inches, 0.52 ft) in maximum width and 10 cm (3.9 inches, 0.33 ft) in height, total weight 401 grams; 18th-century Qing Dynasty Qianlong period court enamelware. Condition and Provenance: Well-preserved, complete set of cup, lid, and stand. The gilding surface has a warm and rich luster, the enamel painting is well-preserved, and the "Made in the Qianlong Period" mark is clearly visible; Provenance: Private collection, California, USA. The bronze cup is thick, the gilding still retains its luster, and the enamel painting is vivid and delicate, combining practicality with the exquisite elegance of court decoration. The cup with lid has a rounded body, the lid is arched, and the top is decorated with a solid gilded spherical knob. The rim and foot are decorated with gilded edges, and the lid and lower part of the body are decorated with scrolling and lotus petal patterns. The cup features a bright yellow background with intricate scrolling foliage patterns. Four pre-painted panels depict seasonal scenes such as plum blossoms, bamboo, peonies, and small insects. The delicate floral and foliage are rendered with exquisite detail, and the panels are adorned with auspicious circular "冀" (ji) characters. The use of pink, green, red, and blue enamel creates a vibrant and elegant visual effect. The base is finished in white enamel and inscribed with the four blue characters "乾隆年印" (Qianlong reign mark). The accompanying tray is shallowly flared with a raised center for holding the cup. The tray's exterior is decorated with scrolling foliage on a black enamel background, while the surface is painted in deep blue with auspicious cloud, bat, peony, and "冀" (ji) characters. The red bats symbolize blessings, and the floral patterns represent prosperity, embodying traditional Chinese auspicious meanings. This complete set of imperial tea utensils from the Qianlong period is crafted from refined copper, adorned with gilded borders and painted enamel, showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of Qing dynasty imperial enamelware. The plum blossom and bamboo motifs symbolize refined scholars, while the floral and bat patterns represent good fortune and prosperity.
