拍品描述 翻译
Dimensions (cm/inch | Period: 18th century): Height 13.5 cm (5.31 inches), lid diameter 7.5 cm (2.95 inches). Condition and Provenance: Excellent condition, found in a pair, with matching lids. Both jars are free from cracks, fine lines, defects, repairs, or restorations. The gilt, famille rose, calligraphy, and iron-red seal script marks are well preserved, with only slight wear on the red-ground scratches. The underglaze blue seal script mark “Qianlong Reign” is clearly visible, and the glaze retains its original soft luster. These jars came from the private collection of a renowned Chinese porcelain collector in Dallas, Texas, acquired in the 1980s and passed down through his family. Description: This pair of exquisite covered jars from the Qianlong period showcases the pinnacle of craftsmanship and artistry in court famille rose porcelain. Each vessel is beautifully shaped, with rounded lids, rounded bodies, and finely crafted foot rims, exhibiting harmonious proportions, making them an ideal choice for Qing dynasty court porcelain. The base of the jar is inscribed with a neat four-character underglaze blue mark, "Made in the Qianlong Reign," the characters vigorous and consistent with the formal style of imperial porcelain. The lid is decorated with a rich, jade-colored ground with intricate scrolling floral patterns, the center adorned with exquisite famille rose floral designs, outlined with delicate gilding. The double-layered gilded border around the rim adds to its luxurious feel. The body is bordered with jade-colored borders at both the top and bottom, complementing the overall design and creating a visually balanced effect. A beautifully blank incense burner bears the elegant calligraphy inscribed "Autumn colors and blooming flowers, fragrance fills the room," and is stamped with two iron-red artist seals. This artistic technique, perfectly blending painting, poetry, calligraphy, and seal carving, is one of the representative achievements of Qianlong imperial porcelain. The porcelain body is delicate, and the glaze has a soft luster, as translucent as jade. The jar is decorated with various techniques, including scraped glaze, gilding, layers of famille rose enamel, and hand-painted calligraphy, fully demonstrating the outstanding achievements of the Qianlong imperial kilns in craftsmanship and art. This well-preserved jar, appearing as a pair with its original lid, not only possesses extremely high decorative value but also extraordinary collectible significance. It is perfectly suited for both museum-level exhibitions and high-end Qing dynasty imperial kiln porcelain collections.
