拍品描述 翻译
Dimensions: 17 cm (6.7 inches) wide, 9.5 cm (3.7 inches) high, 12th-13th century. Condition and Provenance: This incense burner is in excellent overall condition, with a complete form and naturally preserved glaze. The body exhibits the fine crackle pattern characteristic of Song Dynasty Longquan celadon, and kiln marks and natural signs of aging are visible on the base. The original collector's label is still present on the base. Provenance: Private collection, California, USA. Description: This Southern Song Dynasty Longquan celadon hexagonal incense burner is 17 cm wide and 9.5 cm high. The body is uniquely hexagonal with a folded rim, a tapering neck, and a rounded body, featuring a hexagonal base. It was a traditional incense burner used for sacrificial rites and display by literati. Symmetrical red dragon handles adorn both sides, with the dragon heads facing outwards and their bodies gracefully coiled, showcasing exquisite sculpting techniques. The neck is decorated with raised rivet patterns, and all six sides of the body are adorned with molded Bagua (Eight Trigrams) patterns, arranged precisely and evenly. The lower part is also decorated with raised rivet patterns, and the outer edge of the foot is carved with a scrolling floral pattern, creating a rich and layered decorative effect. The entire piece is covered with a warm Longquan celadon glaze, the color of which is calm and elegant, accompanied by delicate natural crackle patterns, giving it a strong sense of age and unique charm. The inner wall is glazed, and the crackle patterns are clearly visible. The foot reveals the original earthenware body, with red kiln marks, and the bottom retains an old collector's label. This heavy Longquan ritual vessel integrates various decorative techniques such as molding, carving, and appliqué, fully demonstrating the exquisite craftsmanship of the Song Dynasty and the symbolic significance of Taoist culture.
