拍品描述 翻译
Dimensions: Each piece is approximately 12 cm/4.7 inches high; overall display size varies depending on placement; Qing Dynasty, 18th century; Condition and Provenance: Overall in good condition, showing signs of age and kiln firing, consistent with the characteristics of antique porcelain. Provenance: Private collection, New York, USA; acquired from the American antique market and held by a private collector for a long period. Description: This exquisite set of seven scholar's desk ornaments, decorated in underglaze blue and underglaze red, is an elegant arrangement for a traditional Chinese scholar's study. The shapes are diverse, including trumpet-mouthed vases, apple-shaped jars, bell-shaped vases, pear-shaped vessels, small incense jars, and spherical bottles. Each piece reflects the exquisite taste of Qing Dynasty decorative arts. The first piece is a trumpet-mouthed vase with underglaze blue scrolling foliage, featuring a simple shape, a rounded body, a slender neck, and a ring foot. The surface of the first piece is decorated with scrolling foliage and banana leaf patterns, with fluid brushstrokes, a bright and vibrant cobalt blue background, and a pure white and lustrous glaze. The second piece is a blue-and-white apple-shaped jar with red lotus design. Its rounded, full body is adorned with entwined floral vines. The contrast between cobalt blue and underglaze red creates a striking visual balance. The third piece is a blue-and-white bell-shaped vase with fish and water motifs. The vase is decorated with vibrant fish, aquatic plants, and duckweed, vividly showcasing the beauty of nature through exquisite porcelain painting techniques. The fourth piece is a blue-and-white jade-shaped vase with floral designs. The vase is decorated with elegant scrolling foliage patterns, with balanced details in the decoration. The fifth piece is a blue-and-white pear-shaped vase with red lotus design. The red and blue patterns complement the warm, smooth glaze perfectly. The sixth piece is a small blue-and-white lotus incense burner, decorated with delicate scrolling lotus patterns. Its small size exudes a refined, scholarly elegance. The seventh piece is a blue-and-white spherical vase, decorated with scrolling floral patterns, with a graceful and elegant shape. These seven pieces collectively demonstrate the exquisite craftsmanship, rich decoration, and refined aesthetics of Qing Dynasty porcelain, designed specifically for the elegant residences of scholars and high-end collectors.
